I have a 2010 GT so the 4.6 3v and I know it's normal on a cold start for the car to idle high On start up. Is there anyway bama can write me a tune to lower that? Reason being I have close neighbors and I wake up and go to work pretty early. Otherwise I love the sound

Don't think so.if you have loud axle backs switch then for stingers or something.to me they don't sound loud to me on out cars.i have the pype bombs and leave for work at 430am and I live in a quiet neighborhood but Im sure they don't mind.only cause there was a few imports and they were annoying

I don't think they can do that, even if they could they probably wouldn't not want to. It idles high to keep the engine from stalling before it warms up a little bit. Besides, if you have a loud axleback as soon as you touch the gas it doesn't matter anymore because your making more noise than the idle.

True but I can sneak around pretty quite in gear it's just that initial start up. But ya I figured they couldn't do that. Just wanted to ask

I believe that is possible, but I don't think it is ideal. Ik my Borlas roar when I start it up, but as soon as I reverse down my driveway they quiet down.

The distance between my exhaust tips and my neighbors house is probably 20-30 feet. So it's gunna be loud either way I guess

We can adjust the cold start idle for you a bit but you definitely want to be careful of this. If you try and calm it down to much the car will take longer to warm up and will probably have stalling issues.

Give the Bama team a call and we can play with the idle a bit to see what works the best for you! You can reach the Bama team at the contact information in my signature.
