HELP!!!! Please!!

So like I want go to Colorado Springs co for road trip. But I can't use 93 octane because there's not a lot f gas station that have 93... So for like 2,000 miles trip I'm tune Down to 87 octane tune. Then when I get back home I tune it back up to 93 octane.
Is this okay? Or is it bad?

It will take probably two tanks to get back to 93 octane completely. Why not tune it down to 91?

Is that at every gas station across the USA country?

I wouldn't say every gas station has 91 but I'd say 97% of them do. Just don't let the gas go below 1/4 tank before searching for gas.

If all you are doing is cruising why not just leave it on 87?

And there's not really a problem with switching tunes as long as you have the correct octane in there..

Yeah, make sure the whole tank has 93 or it can get bad. I would just run the 87 tune for a while untill i know the whole tank has 93.

What would happen if you left the tune at 93 and put one of the other octane gas like 87, I'm not doing it nor have I ever, I just am curious what would happen.

Just leave the 93 tune on and put in the 92-91 octane, it won't make a difference, especially if it's a email tune and your NA, the car has knock sensors that will pull timing anyways

BaSohol; Random question...I know you live near me and have been to Joliet to race...With the mods you have listed, what are you running in the quarter? Mid to high 12s? Race any new 5.0s?

I've raced a few at the track, beat a few, but likely bad driver cause my buddy can hit 12.4s with his 2013 with drag radials.

My best time is 13.0 @ 96mph with a 1.9 60 foot, can't launch that good :\
