automatic trany question.

Is it normal that whenever I stop on a hill and I let go of the brake pedal my car goes downhill like if it was a manual transmission?

Yes its fairly normal. Its due to a lack of fluid pressure in the transmission because of the idling engine causing the clutches to not apply all the way or enough to hold the weight of the car on the hill.
