Check Charging System

So my check charging system light has been coming on but it dose not last no longer then 1 min I changed the battery out last month. What can it be? Any ideas thanks.

I could be wrong but it sounds like your alternator may be getting worn out. I just replaced mine and it was doing the same thing with my battery light at first. It would come on for a minute then go off, it started to stay on for longer though

Yea my battery light comes on too. Then goes away. Damn so a new alternator it is ):

Yep.... alternator. I replaced my alt 2 weeks ago.

Mine did the same and it was the diode that was bad in the alternator. You can just replace that.

It's in the alternator. Go to American muscle and look up paperformance 6g alternator repair kit

Yes, these guys have pointed you in the right direction. It definitely sounds like your alternator is going bad. You may be able to get away with the repair kit, but I can't promise that will fix the issue. It really depends what wrong with your alternator and there's no real way to tell!

yup no codes tho? i got 3440 alot... then had friend test it said it was fine.. waited few weeks light came on touch it to advanced or any auto parts store they will test it for free!!! then u will know for sure can also test your battery while your there make sure all the cells are good... long story short 2000 watt sound system fried mine,, touch it to alternator shop the rebuilt it and upgraded it to the 200a i needed and for 159$ cheaper than aftermarket one
