I was wondering if it is safe to say that the 2008-2009 Shelby GT500KR SS is a 850HP (Bolt-on) car...I have been arguing with a ZL1 fan boy trying to explain to him that the ZL1 can not put out the same HP as the Cobra without going into the motor...
All this came about a Picture a friend posted on FB saying his STOCK C5 and ZL1 was faster than the Cobra. I simply stated that I would take the Cobra over them both because you can get more Bolt-on HP from the Cobra...I showed him an example of the 2009 GT500 with a Kennie Bell making 800 and another one pulling 800WHP on the dyno... to the reply you have not showed me an 850hp Cobra yet...I am like WTF was the last video?
A factory gt500 is on borrowed time at that power level. Just show him the compound boost terminators making over 1000whp on the factory motors
Thanks, I did that already..But I was trying to show him that the ZL1 can not do what the particular Cobra in the picture can...I also showed him the 2013 with 850...He bocked at them all, he was just in denial. I just want to make sure I was not full of *****. I know I have seen 850 HP Cobras from that time frame...I have just not messed with them in so long. I guess thats what happens when you get double teamed by Camaro Fanboys. They start crawfishing and making derogatory comments. It just pisses me off...Guess I need to let it go. However, he shut his mouth fast when I called him out for $1000.00
