New grille

It's thought I would keep the update of what I'm doing to my mustang, so here is the new grille combo before and after that I just installed on my gt

How was the install? I'm going to order the same grille soon so I'm trying to figure out what to expect.

Where love do you have to have your license plate in the front if so you can do like I did and put it behind your grill and it's still plain as day all you have to do is clamp it with the screws that hold the grill on

I've always hated aftermarket billet grilles (especially the dull silver ones that you see on every type of truck, car, sedan, etc.) but I really like the upper grille (props for not getting an overlay!), although the lower grille... Overlay... Looks bent, not straight, eh why can't they fix that after so many years of being on the market?

I think you will find that Texas law says it must be mounted at the very front of the car on the bumper. Technically you could get pulled over for this.

That said, I haven't run a front plate in many years in Texas and it has never cost me a dime. I have a no drill plate holder and I leave it off most of the time.

The install wasn't too bad, the hardest part for me was pulling out the old grille after popping off the radiator cover. That was only the case because I was afraid of damaging the plastic clips holding in the other one. Everything else was cake

I don't have to have the plate in the front here in arizona so I just want it to stay clean

Yeah the bottom one was an overlay unfortunately. I was upset about that, but it is what it is. And yeah I also saw it looks bent too, I was thinking about sending just that back for one that isn't bent but I don't want to deal with all that

I just ordered the black billet upper and lower from mrbodykit.com
My upper has the GT driving lights that are hidden behind it. I love the blackout look.
