05-10 4.6 suspension

about a week ago I took my dad out for a drive and he noticed how awful the suspension was I'm sure every 4.6 owner knows what I'm talking about.. the rattling the nasty clicking noice every time you hit even a lil bump he asked me why it was like that and I told him I don't know he seemed pretty curious about it and asked me if it was messing up he then told me to get it diagnosed at the ford house now I don't think a diagnostic will help figure out suspension problems? And if diagnosing it should I return my car to stock on the tune or leave it on? What are some possibilities to fix how awfully the suspension I'm sure its probably shocks struts sometimhing like that.

I've never had nasty rattling or clicking but I only have 40k on my car. There are several things that it could be but just sounds like bushings on something are shot....more info would help others help you diagnose. Is the car lowered, any aftermarket suspension?

Its not like clicking but it just feels so stiff every little bump I hit the car and I feel it the ride comfort is not comfortable at all it just feels like the car is taking a beating I don't abuse it I do not drift any of that and yes I know its a muscle car so its not gonna be perfect and no I have no after market suspension upgrades what so ever I think it might be my shocks or something not that great I hope.

Well I have my original shocks, aftermarket rear lower control arms, and lowering springs. The only thing I could think of is shocks/struts or the bushings on the lowers ( only cause when I removed my stock lowers the bushings were weak compared to the new ones)
Hopefully someone else will chime in as well...might want to change the subject to What kind of exhaust would give me the best HP or what should I plastidip next! Those seem to be the threads that thrive
