does my power seem low?

Hey all,
So i finished my exhaust a couple of weeks ago and also have everything custom tuned on a mustang dyno and i feel that my power results are alittle low tell me if im just crazy and it is about right. I have:

JLT series 3 CAI

FRPP hot rod cams
pypes O/R H pipe
FRPP 3.73 gear

with all of this i put out 296 rwhp and 286 rwtq. does this seem low?

A little, but that could be due to the conditions of the test. LT's would have helped reach ther full potential.

Yeah it is what it is. I enjoy my car over other choices I had. But I wish it put more power down low everything I've done put it all up top

With a 93 tune and cold air, you should be putting down 285 with a max of 290. You should have anywhere between 20-30hp with long tubes and a cold air when you have those cams installed. I'm assuming the dyno conditions were poor. You should be well over 310 I would say. Have you ran a 1/4 mile with it?

In October I dyno'd my 07 shelby GT with about the same mods except the cams and I was at 336 rwhp on a Mustang dyno. I also have 4:10 gears. I am putting cams this winter and hoping for 15 rwhp more.

What was the temp and humidity?

I am using a Bama tune and it feels really strong. Maybe your custom tune is the issue.

I would think 320 easy with a good tune.

How were the CAMS to install? I hear different stories. Easy to a pain....

Do you have a tuner? I would call Bama and see what they would charge for a tune if you do.

I am impressed with the tunes they have given me. Lots of power. Even the dyno guy asked who tuned my car as he was impressed with the numbers.
