Yeah that's my plan, the short block I'm looking at is plenty for my application. forged rods and pistons and new ford racing crank. plenty for all I'll ever want in a daily driver. the reason I'm not going forced induction now is because one the motor has 100k miles as of about 2 weeks ago, and for 89k of them I have no idea the maintenance and rough beating on it and I'm not taking a chance, secondly we did a compression test and the numbers weren't so hot.
