Tune problems

I currently have the Bama Tunes on my SCT tuner on Friday I went to the track and tried putting my race tune on when it downloaded I tried starting up the car and it wouldn't start! It would crank but it would just not start I would give it a lil gas and nothing.. so I then returned my car to the performance tune and it started up fine I have not tried the street tune yet I also have a question how much is the tune suppose to help stock I ran 9.2 at 1/8 mile where I live the elevation is nearly 3000 ft but with the tune I ran 9.1 I'm just starting to question my tunes what do you guys think and how much of a difference is it suppose to make at the track?

Hmm, it sounds like your Race tune file may be corrupted. This isn't a big deal though, we can definitely rewrite the tune for you and get you squared away! Just give the Bama team a call and they'll gladly help you out.

There's so many different variables to thing about at the track, so it's hard to nail down exact gains. I ran a 12.7 in my 2011 GT bone stock and with a Bama tune on the same day was able to run a 12.4! If they were on different days, different tracks etc.. it's really hard to be consistent. Now that you're making more power with the tune, traction might become an issue etc..

I hope this helps! Our Bama Performance tuning specialists are here in the building Monday-Friday from 9AM-5:30PM EST and Saturday 9AM-5:30PM EST. You can hit them up directly at 888.226.9764 and they'll get you squared away!
