Full exhaust.

08 gt manual. What all would everyone do? I'm doing a full exhaust, headers, pipes, everything, as well as an electric cutoff and side pipes. What headers ? X, h, or straight pipe? What mufflers/axel backs ? Already know my eletric cutoff, then I'll need side pipes. Any tips? Advice?

get bbk long tube headers then just run pipe all the way out the back. you don't need cats or mufflers

I did Kooks LT to catted H, then got the Boss 302 side exhausts weld to the H pipe before the H. After that it goes down to Magnaflow Magnapacks and then over the axel to Pypes Pype Bombs. The sound is amazing and I have received a lot of compliments. As soon as you do longtubes the exhasut sound will get loud. The Magnapacks tone it down and get rid of some of the resonance, then the Pype Boms clean it up even more. It is still loud at startup until it warms up and when you get on it, it is really loud. I install QTP cututs on the side exits also, so I can open the sides up and make it even louder.

You wont be sorry with that setup.

-JBA or Kooks long tubes

-Corsa or Pypes offroad X pipe

-Mid mufflers OR High flow cats

-Corsa, SLP, Pypes or Stingers

And then your car will sound like this. Best sounding 3v ever...Watch the whole video.

This is the only one I have currently. I have no drive by videos yet. I picked up a Hero 3 camera late this year and never got around to getting a sweet drive by vid.

Sounds good despite the distortion the (cellphone?) created. Did you buy the side pipes off of someone or did you buy the AM kit?

Nope...side pipes are factory Boss 302 pipes. there is a good thread on svtperformance forums that documents a guy that did it on his GT500. I took all information abuot what he ordered and did the same with my GT.

Video was done using a Hero GoPro (1st gen)

Can you send me a link to that thread? I want side pipes bad, and it's defiantly happening. Just need a little help on how. Also could you send me a link to the side pipes themselves that you bought? Need 2.5 or 3 inch pipes, that's what the cutoff I'm buying is.
