Two Questions

First- I am getting a new set a wheels and tires and know what i want. I have 17's right now and want to get 18's, my problem is that for my winter tires i have 17's so when i switch in either the fall or spring my speedometer will be screwed up. Will my bama tuner help? or is that a stupid question? haha If not what would i need to fix that?

Second- I am looking for a replacement pony emblem for a front grill so i can paint that one and have an extra chrome one just cuz, will a 99-04 emblem fit on a 05-09?

Thanks for the help

I know that bama asks for your wheel and tire dimensions when writing a tune, so i think you'll be slightly off when switching to new wheels. But bama can fix it. As for the emblem, i have no clue. But i'm leaning towards no. I personally don't think they'll fit. Don't quote me on it though.

Sounds like you've already picked out your wheels! That's really cool, What are you going to go with?

As far as your speedometer goes, the answer is yes your speedometer is going to be off if your tune is set up for 18's but you run 17's. However, you can adjust the tire height settings within the tune and just throw whatever tire height you're running at that time is and you'll be good to go!

The 99-04 Emblem is not the same as 05+ Emblems, so that won't work.

I hope this helps! Please let me know if you have any questions or need some assistance in the near future.

You'll need to adjust your revs per mile with your tuner. You can also get the same diameter tire and not have to change anything.

I am sticking with classic bullitt rims, just getting them in black. And yeah i could go with the same size but 18's just look so sexy

Wheel sz has nothing to do with the tire diameter. The wheels you go with will determine the sidewall height, not the over all height.
