An friend of my just cam out his car .....and he would like to know how hard is it to change over to sc...he brought an Roush m90

Sorry my fingers is typing right....my friend just put cam on his car...and now he just bought an s/c for it ....how hard is it to convert from cams to s/c

Why would you have to convert? Just tune it to s safe power level

No reason to convert.. Cams and s/c are two totally different things. They can both be upgraded independently.

The right cams with the right tune will greatly improve your engines output with a S/C over a stock motor with just a S/C and a tune.

More than likely your friend didn't install FI cams. To do it right, he will need to re cam for his blower. There are blower cams, and non blower cams. They allow for diff things. Whats 9 grand vs 7?! With this motor, I would forge things before a blower and cams.

Well blower cams aren't that much different until higher boost. At 8-12lbs it won't be a big difference between say.. Blower cams and comp cam 270s

Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

Pretty sure it's just a different cam profile to help the cams handle increased air flow.

Yes, lift and duration is much different.
As noted, either will work, but a lot of efficiency and hp/tq will be lost.

so until you swap out the cams, you wont see the full potential of your charger?how does that work for v6s when hardly anyone will custom make them? are you just outta luck?
