maint time

Been searching and searching but need a couple questions answered and ive done my search time but no clear answers so please dont kill me for a beaten subject.

Trans fluid- amsoil syncromesh, mtg or what thought i was set on RP syncromax but started reading better reviews on amsoil. Question on that is which one SM or mtg?

Rear diff- read better on amsoil products. Question on this is the 75w140 or the midway 75w110? And do i still need to add motorcraft friction modifier? Read somewhere doing the RP swap doesnt require it but didnt know if it was true for amsoil.

Motor- sticking with a otc brand but contimplating on synthetic. Thinking mobile 1. But being a daily driver with no future major hp mods would there be any benefit to that over 20-30 bucks for motorcraft oil and filter?

Spark plugs- anything better than oem? Only read about the autolite but not a huge fan
Thanks for your opinions and time

hey I live on by the bonivel speed way and when the racers come out I ask them about fluids all the time. For the most part they all run RP so I made the switch all my fluids are royal purple and I love them. Biggest diffrence was my tranny. It shifts so much smother now. And as far as spark plugs go I called a race shop in Salt Lake City and they sent me some colder plugs becouse I run nos. and after I gaped them they work perfect on my mustang

Thats what im trying to accomplish not that it shifts rough but seems to be gettin harder especially from N to R. Usually have to shift up to 5th then itll go into R. Hoping a fluid change will smooth that out. No grinding no slips just a little tough sometimes and i dont want to get the feeling im forcing it.

Ok so i got 1 vote for RP

Interested to know about these plugs your talking about. Also beneficial to me since no power adders just gonna be full exhaust (already have) cia and bama tune

There will always be some chest thumping as to what fluid manufacturer is best. I use good quality synthetics and run them to about 10K for the engine. I start looking for sales when I get to the 8K mark.

RP in my differential, and RP in the transmission.

I've been wanting to add some to my tranny but don't really know how to. I've got a very small leak and the shop wants too much to fix so I'll just add some. Could someone tell me how?

Theres a fill and drain bolt on the tranny. Or take your shifter off and go through the top. Prob with adding is the chance to overfill and read you deff dont need to do that. Prob best to drain and refill unless you know exact amount that it needs that youve leaked
