A good socket set, an air impact with 18 mm socket. A harmonic balancer puller set(rent this from Advance Auto). Some black RTV for balancer bolt. Some beer and a couple of hours.

Does anyone know which puller kit I need to get to take off the harmonic balancer, I've already rented 3 of them from 3 different part stores and none of them will work. If anybody knows please let me know.

You need a 3-jaw puller. I just pulled mine off. Get a 3 inch, 3-jaw puller

Which kit, I used one of the kits from advance auto and I couldn't get it to grab or work. Does it need to grab the inside or outside the harmonic balancer?

upd=under drive pulleys they slow the speed of all your accessories alternator water pump ac compressor and ads horsepower that is being taken turning all that so fast ......down side to those is if you add any after market amps to your stereo you will have to upgrade your alt.if you add too many mods larger cooling fans and or radiator as well but they do work well for 5 to 10 hp.

How does AC work with a UDP? Is AC still really hot in the winter and can blow cold air fast in the summer?

they just slow the speed of how fast they turn your compressor your ac still works just fine it may add some life to it cause it doesn't spin as fast
