Gas Tank...

I know there's a lot of threads about this, so I'll apologize about it now. My tank does not fill with gas at all, I have to fill it up about 10 cents at a time. I've tried doing all the different angles to fill it and it just doesn't work. Sometimes it does fill with gas (about once a month) the sensor doesn't sense when it's full and it over flows with gas causing fuel to shoot down the side of my car. Does Ford offer a repair on it? Or does anyone know what to do to fix it? Anything? Thanks!

If you put the pump into the tank and turn it upside down it will work perfect. I think when I worked for ford I seen something about that being a problem. It even does it on my car. So I just turn it upside down and bam.

Supposedly in the later like 06 or 07 there's a "redesigned" fuel tank/spout that fixes the problems but I'm pretty sure I've read of newer models having the same issues

Ford house would be the only place I'd think but maybe somewhere like tousley ford online. But I'm not sure. I have an 05 & mines fine. I have had to turn the nozzle upside down a time or two tho

Mines a 07 and is a pain in the buttocks to fill up when the tank is empty.... Takes like 30 mins.... Tried everything and I've noticed shell gas stations are the only gas stations that give me trouble. Everywhere else I go its fine.

I've never tried a Shell lol. I didn't think that gas nozzles differed from station to station, or is it like a placebo type thing? Everywhere I've been my car acts up. Even on those weird gas stations off to the side of long interstates that no ones heard of. My car hates taking gas, but it sure loves wasting it.

On my 05 I had to twist it to the right about to the 5 o'clock position and then upside down also.
