It'll help catch oil from recirulating through the intake.

It works pretty good. You wouldn't put oil in your intake intentionally. It can't hurt to prevent it from burning in your pistons. Just empty it with every oil change. I've never had more than a little.

Great upgrade for your GT. I purchased my OCC on ebay for I think $35.00 free shipping. They all do the same thing.

The ebay ones may work well but what is the long term quality? If there are any leaks in between the PVC valve and the intake manifold that will that cause a vacuum leak. I have the JLT separators and I have had zero issues with them. I think you get what you pay for and if it's going to be on your motor it would definitely not be a place to cut a corner. The catch cans are definitely a good way to minimize oil going through the induction side of the motor.
