Installing springs

Hey guys I'm I slaking my cobra jet lowering springs tommorow. Will I actually need a spring compressor? In a lot of videos they don't use them but some people say I will. Any other things I'll need? Are they any tips and tricks you guys can recommend ? Anything to make it go smoothly would be a lot of help. Thanks!

I would use them, since the other method is to compress the spring before you remove the strut from the car by using a jack to compress the springs. Then loosen the nut on top of the spring, and them slowly lower the jack to decompress the spring before you remove the strut from the car.

Check out Late Model Restorations site for instructions.

You wont need them. Its simple as pie with just a jack. As said above the LRS write up is great.
