Motion Control Plates Vs. New Intake Manifold

So i think down the road i would like to go forced induction but before i would like to do bolt ons to prepare for it. I have read that the steeda billet charge motion control plates on AM can free up a lot of air flow but wold it be worth the extra couple hundred bucks to just go for the ford racing intake manifold? Also keep in mind that i probably wont go FI for a while so if one is just plain better than the other than that works too.

Depends on what style fi you go. I have a roush, there for my cai, intake manifold were all replaced.. So the motion control plates would be useless a cai and intake, useless..

He has a valid point, but if you go for a vortech centrifugal supercharger or a turbo kit, your stock intake manifold an charge motion plates are retained. I believe in addition to the obvious features of the ford racing intake mani, it has shorter intake runners which are more conducive to a FI setup and make better top end power than stock. Not to mention it just looks great. I say do the ford racing intake mani. Cai's are plentiful used as well so keep that in mind.
