Double check all your connections to the cai. If they are all good then have them double check your tune. I got a bad email tune one time, the guy forgot to change it for my cai.
Is this the first time with a tune?

If your tuner has some built in tunes for your cai could try them and see if it's lean. If so then something is not right with the cai.

Really check the connection at the throttle body. I had a leak there and it threw a code.

I checked every connection there is, unless I'm blind there isn't one. I took it back apart and reassembled it and I drove it for a while and no check engine light, thought that was a good thing but then my car was running horrible. I think that cai is a bad part and I'm sending it back to get my money back

If your 100% sure you got everything correct I would suspect the tune to be wrong, I have the jlt 3 no problem

Check the throttle body connections, and don't tighten the adapter to CAI to much

Make sure you have the tube from the passenger side cam cover installed

Make sure the MAF is facing the right direction, and clean it with MAF cleaner, you could of got it dirty from improper handling of it or oil from the filter
