FAST BLINKER 07 GT

So, couple days ago Vivian (07 GT) decided to have the world's fast left-turn signal. It has been doing it ever since. The right turn signal works at normal speed.

I've heard this could mean that one side of the dual filament bulb has burnt out and that's the computer's way of telling the driver to replace it.

Ideas? Worried it could be water damage in the passenger side wiring compartment.

Thanks!
Bobby

Did you inspect the blinker function? That's probably all it is. Turn the left blinker on and you will likely find either the front or rear one isn't blinking while the opposite one is blinking faster than normal.

+1

My guess is you have a bulb burnt out on the left side.

Alright so I turned the signal on and looked at it and sure enough one of the bulbs on the left side wasn't lighting. After I replaced it, the blinker is back to normal speeds.

Thanks for the help!

Trust me, you will never forget that again.
