Its all about feel. Go get a bunch of junk/cheap tires and find an empty parking lot where you won't get any trouble from cops or pedestrians..... Then have fun.

How hard is it to go sideways, like taking turns and stuff? I know just flipping your tail is easy but to go sideways in a turn? Is it just one of those things that takes practice?

Suspension is also key, its not about getting sideways. Thats easy, but being able to control it and actually corner with it is the hard part and it takes a lot of suspension work.

Thread jack; Basahol, how you liking your cams? Worth it?

My neighbor has won all sorts of drift events. This is what you need to know.

1. Tires, get a lot of them
2. If you care about how your car looks, you're in big trouble. You will crash it eventually.
3. Quick feet
4. Spend lots of money on suspension

Practice in the rain at 3am when no one is out. Rain always excites the drifters.

It's all about throttle control and feel. Practice in a huge parking lot and rain to help lose traction. Suspension plays a huge part. I'm trying to learn also, I'm in Kyle Texas. find a race track that has drift events and go and talk to those guys.

I like the cams tho can't give you a performance review yet cause when I installed them I also put on my stock exhaust, so it leveled out as far as gains probably, but this week it's going in for headers and full 2.5 mandrel bent pipe

Those headers will probably add some nice gains with your cams. How much you paying for the header install?

I'm getting my 4.10s put in at Speed Inc. in 3 weeks.

The cams were 300 to install, the gears were 300 and the headers are costing me 450, all at Deans Performance in St Charles IL

Also I just order Some SVE mufflers to finish the exhaust, hope they sound good, they look nice and only cost 300 bucks

I know I got a problem with getting excited to do stupid stuff with my stang when people egg me on to 'let it rip' or something like that... Almost got into an accident last time.... screw them though, my stang is a LOT more important to me then impressing people I don't even know.
