Snow performance stage 3

Alright so I bought the snow performance stage 3 kit straight from the site, and they said even with out FI system I can still get power gains. The shop that was gonna install it said that I'll get 0hp gains with out FI.

Have anyone installed this on their n/a car?

Help me please!

They was like "yeah it'll cool down the air temps on N/A mustangs. By doing so colder air equals more horse power" more mods the better. I'm kinda pissed but I'm not in a way

theweekday,

Normally I wouldn't suggest a meth kit to be installed on a N/A car. Since the gains are minimum for most conditions and applications. You will see gains during warm weather though, because the meth would cool the intake charge. Allowing your tuner to add more ignition timing and leaner fuel. Again, we're still talking about a few hp/tq throughout the range.

I will say I've seen a small handful of guys who've built their engines for high compression (13.5:1) use meth and pump gas. For the most part these cars would run on MS109 race gas, but some of the guys would run pump gas and methanol for the octane boost at higher RPM. Of course, the tune would be different for when running the 93octane & methanol, but it's pretty cool technique to run ultra high compression and pump gas.

I know this doesn't really apply to you now, but it may give you ideas for the future!

Shane
