Leaking water on passenger side!

Every time it rains, water starts leaking on the inside! I heard someone say it may be a drain dats clogged up.. Anyone know wut dats about?

Could b a floor drain, door drain, bad weather striping on the door seal as well, possibly even the rear quarter window or windshield also

Pop the cowl cover off the passenger's side and take a look at the drain. When looking at the firewall on the passenger's side you will see the drain's rubber gasket hanging down. Make sure that the drain is clear of any debris. While you are in there change out your cabin air filter.

I had the same problem, it's the drain plug that is plugged up with whatever debris. +1^^^

Leaking water on passenger side!

Can't copy and paste, however Google 2005 mustang cowl drain. There is a great write-up with pics on a different forum.

Ya this is a common issue, there's a TSB for it somewhere - easy fix but very important because that water can get into your computer box and cause electrical problems from hell!
