Jlt Cai 2010 gt Help!

I have a 2010 gt as some of you know I took a look at my buddys 5.0 and saw that his vacuum hose was connected to his cai on my car the vacumm hose has no where to be connected I have the jlt series 3 cai I yes I am sure I got the right intake here's a pic

That's were the line went on the stock intake there is no opening on the jlt cai

First off, that's not a vaccuum hose, it's your sound tube that leads inside the cabin. Second, the reason it doesn't have the sound tube port is because the only difference between the 05-09 JLT intakes and the '10 intake is the shape of the heatshield. JLT didn't see a need to completely redesign their intake when the 2010 used the same engine, they just modified the heatshield to fit the new engine bay design. Basically the sound tube is unused and can be removed from the vehicle. When removed, you'll need to plug the hole in the firewall.
