Hard Water Spotted Windows

I don't know if the previous owner let my 06 GT sit next to sprinklers or what but the windows were Severally spotted. I just got done with the interior and engine so I'm starting on the windows. I seen 0000 Steel wool used on You Tube to polish the spots out of the window so I tried it and it worked BUT was a hell of a lot of elbow grease, in my aggravation I decided to put Vinegar on the 0000 Steel wool and it work really well with quite a bit less effort. After buffing the water spots out I RainX The window and it looks new again I'm really happy with results, I hate dirty windows. Click image for larger version

Looks a ton better. I know they sell specific detail products online fo severe water spots but I also wonder if a little "CLR" for bathroom tubs and sinks would work too.

If it doesn't, I'll use your route since the rear window with louvers are looking horrid from inside.

I wondered about CLR myself, but this worked pretty good. The windows were bad spotted.
