2008 GT Mustang Power

Ok so I have a GT Mustang 4.6.
I've put comp cams, CAI, 62 mil throttle body, under drive pulleys, Ford racing intake manifold, flow master catback exhaust system and 3.73 gears.
I had it tuned by Bama performance, where they email you the tune. Had 3 pulls done on the Dyno, and only came up 291rwhp!
SOS! What's up with this power problem ??

With cams you pretty much need headers. No, same mods for me netted me 371. Dyno will vary but 291 is definitely out of wack. Intake/tune will do 290 wheel.

my bama tune pulled 360 then 371 dyno tuned.

It's gets even weirder. On the 3 pulls I did, I got 291 then it dropped to 246! Then the 3rd was 255. I think I'll just pay the $300 it would cost me to Dyno tune it on the machine.

Get a new tune from bama. Could just be a bad file. Data logging would help too and see if there is an issue with your car you aren't aware of. Additionally, the dyno itself can be bad. Go to the real dyno, the track, and see.

Funny you should say that about the data log. I just did that and sent it in. Got a new tune from them. Feels better but don't know if I want to Dyno test again with the same people. Maybe their machine is off.

If you are going to dyno tune it, get a set of long tube headers. It would be a waste if you didnt. You would pay gor a dyno, be down on power and realize that you need headers, then buy them and then have to dyno tune again.

Ya, good point. I'll wait, get the headers and let bama have another crack at it.

Don't go to the same people for the Dyno!.. 3 completely different numbers like that?.. Something is missing somewhere, and I'd bet it's their Dyno!..

I agree 100%!
Also, I'm suspicious of them just trying to get me to tune my vehicle there. There was a few of them hovering around my Stang and they said they couldn't figure out why it dropped like it did. Then try said "for $300, we can test and tune it here"

Bring your truck to their shop and toe strap it to their dyno machine and drive off.
