Mid pipe

Quick question I have a pypes off road X right now with my stock headers and I found a pacesetter off road h pipe on Craigslist but it's for longtubes, can I just switch my X pipe for the h and use the pypes tubes that connect to the stock headers?

Nope. It says it's made for longtubes for a reason, your x pipe will be a different length.

Isn't the only difference the extention pipes? Idk the name of them, all I know is that there's pipes that come from the headers and then clamp onto the X pipe or h pipe and then clamp to the mid pipe.

Either way you can't use a mid pipe made for long tubes on stock manifolds or shorty headers. Maybe if you have a shop cut up and weld it. But it'd be easier to just buy a new midpipe that will bolt right up.
