Auto is way better for drag racing and next mod I suggest would be 3500 rpm stall converter It will make a world of difference

Def the converter, gears, cams and exhaust will make it sound sporty enough. Having it as an auto makes it quite fun as well I think. Because most of your hot dogging will be on straight roads anyway.

I would keep your stock throttle body for right now. There's other upgrades that you'll benefit from more currently. When you're adding finishing touches to your GT, a throttle body will be a nice option.

I highly suggest an aftermarket stall converter, as others have said. Depending how much you plan on racing the car or how much it's driven on the street, would change my suggestion of which size you should run. If you want a little bit of both worlds, I've found the a 3,000rpm stall is nice.

You mentioned you're looking for more sound too? I see you already have Kooks headers, but are you running a catted or O/R mid-pipe? Also, what catback or axleback are you using? I'm sure we could find the tone you're looking for with the right axleback.

Let me know if there's anything else I can help you with!

I'd say get rid of the flowmasters and get a set of corsa axlebacks. They're a little pricey but sound like a beast when you step on it and have no drone when cruising. I dont even have headers and it sounds bad @$$, I can't imagine what a set of headers would do

I agree with DrSir. If you're looking for more volume, zero drone, and a high end quality axleback. It's hard to beat Corsa. They truly have one of the nicest axlebacks on the markets today. They only use 304 stainless steal, so the exhaust will outlast the car too.

That might give you want you're looking for in the exhaust!
