Better gas milage?

My 2005 gt seems to have been getting really bad gas mileage the past month. Does anyone have any suggestions to improve the milage cause right now on a full tank I'm only getting about 250 miles.

This is highway driving at 70-80 mph...the gearing helps a lot.

Change the plugs to a platinum tip or an iridium. Put some Gumout all in one in your next tank of gas. Clean your throttle body. And if you don't already then always try to use quality gas such as Shell or Chevron

I changed my spark plugs and got new coil packs and got 200 miles on half a tank. So I'd say it was the spark plugs and the coil packs were a great investment.

250 miles out of a tank seems perfectly normal and very good. I am confused.

Spark plugs! I'm at the same mileage as you, changed my plugs and went from 10 MPG to 20 MPG in one night.

That is hardly a scientific test.

If a spark plug was costing you 10 MPG, you would have noticed an immense loss of power.
