Is there a kit or some method of raising the seat in an 09 GT?
The head room is excessive and the seating just allows a view over the dash but cannot see the hood. In the 2013's the seating is quite a bit higher and much more comfortable. My wife won't ride in it as the seats are too low and it is difficult to get out.

BTW we are over 60 and bought the car as a relive our youth toy - unfortunately it is not being enjoyed right now.

You didn't drive the car before you bought it?

I don't know how the seats work on the 09's but on my 01 the drivers side power seat moves up and down. Perhaps both of the seats in your car are power and they are simply not adjusted to your tastes. Pull up on the power seat adjuster. Its probably the same switch that moves the seat forward and back.
If that fails, take the advice posted above by Samuel...
