Gas gauge.

My gas gauge is messing up. I know there is a tsb on it but it still works and sometimes its right. I read that people put chevron fuel treatment in it to clean the sulfur build up off of it. Anyone have luck with that or should I just replace the sender. Also can I get to it under my seat or have to drop the tank. Thanks in advance.

If it's the gauge that's not working correctly than you need to replace the stepper motor in the cluster not the tank

Stepper motors in our models are the common problem.
