Shorty headers : best brand and type

Ok so here is my dilemma....I have a bad 02 sensor in front of the cat on the driver side, tried changing it,didn't move an inch, took it to a shop, they couldn't do it,tried all the tricks,no good,it is rusted on the header...only option now is taking the whole header off and removing the sensor to put the new one by heating it up and all that.
I've always wanted long tubes but I don't have the money for the mods needed. My inspection is due and I'm sick of having my check engine light on all the time.
My thinking now is I would like to go with shorty headers because of the cost and there's no need to modify anything. I'm thinking ahead in terms of just incase the other sensor goes out,I don't want to go through all this trouble again!
I know shorties don't give much power gains vs cost etc etc.
My question is : what type of shorties are best and which brands are good??

Not sure which is best, but I've been rocking the ford racing shorties for a few years now, and have no complaints with it.

Fix what you have and save your money for LTs. Do you really want to spend the money twice?
