High Miles

Just wanted to get some input from you guys since the 3v 4.6 has been out for almost 10 years now. How reliable is the engine in 100k plus mile range? I've found a pretty good deal on one but it has over 100k miles on it let me know what you guys think!

As long as it's been maintained properly it'll last triple that.

I agree.
The 2V's are good for 300k+ even after being in a police car for the first 1/3 of their life... And then a taxi cab after that!
The 05 3V has cam phasers that the 2V doesn't have, and I think that is the only difference aside from the head with the extra valve. Those phasers can cause a knocking noise, I understand, but it seems like something that you'd do when it came time to replace the timing chains/tensioners anyway.
Like you said, the cars are turning ten. You can expect all of the problems that you might encounter with any car that age.

Got 106k on mine and runs great with no issues. Did a full tuneup at 100k and use full synthetic every 5k
