Problems filling up with fuel 2006 gt

Think there's something wrong with the filler neck. When the tank gets half full I have to sit there and basically force feed it fuel till it's within range of what I think it needs. Problem with that is I was on the phone today and wasn't paying attention and ended up spillin everywhere. Anyone else have this problem?

Yeah it's a pretty common problem for 05-09's to have

Let me find the TSB, knock on wood, I haven't had the issue in a while.

Try turning the nozzle 90 degrees. That used to work for me

Haha cool thank you. Did you ever end up getting it fixed? I looked at the filler neck and it looks a little chinsey. Like fuel wouldn't flow through it very easily

Last time I checked, you need to disconnect a fill sensor near the rear driver side right around the gas tank underneath the chassis. There is a sensor built into the gas pump to stop from overfilling so no worries with that. Unless it is a really old pump, then you should probably write your congressman. This takes care of said problem.
