How to do a donut in a 05 V6 automatic ?

I'm a 16 year old guy and I have a mustang and I've always wanted to learn how to do a donut or a burnout , someone please help. Click image for larger version

For donuts, be at a dead stop, turn to the left (as the right rear tire will get the power) and floor it with traction/stability control off (not sure if it's on your car). That should be it. If your car has an LSD, it would should also work going to the right.


As for burnouts, again, dead stop, left foot on the brake, right foot on the gas, push the brakes just a little, floor it, then give it more brake to stay in one spot. That is called power braking, it will wear down your rear brake pads quickly .. so watch out for that.

Combine the two for drifting.

Safest place to start would be a grass field, or giant wet parking lot with no light poles.

2. Fair warning, you're only going to spin one tire due to the differential they put in the 05-10 V6s.

Use your dominate hand to steer, turn the wheel to the left or right, hold your donut with or without a napkin and take an aggressive bite.
