Top horse power

How much horse power can my stock 2008 GT engine handle before I need to start strengthening the engine parts?

They say 520 crank 450 wheels, why push it? If your worried you should build your short block. -- forged --

What's the Trans rated for power wise? Surly the tr3650 can't handle 450 wheels right?

I talked to American Muscle and they said they have a boosted 2006 GT with that transmission and it's handling 460 rear wheel.

Now we're talking!
I know eventually I'll have to change the transmission. I want to get into the 600s. But the least amount of money to spend right now, the better.

Mod on then. I don't see anyone pushing that amount of power without wanting to change the Trans anyway.

I'd rather have a 450 horse manual than a 550 horse auto as a daily driver.

But I suppose even 450 is pretty impractical for a daily driver

Ya I couldn't get nothing but a stick when it comes to muscle cars.
It's all part of the drive
