Still feeling slow

So even after getting a tune for off road pipe and pype bombs, my acceleration still doesnt seem right. When I stomp on it, it lags, it eases into the power instead of being instant and snappy. And doesnt feel torque-y at all. It drives me insane. could it be the tune or is it something with the car?

Still feeling slow

Datalog with tune on and off and send to bama. They're pretty good at figuring stuff out albeit their delayed responses which drives me crazy.

Which tune are you running? Did you try returning it back to stock before updating to a newer tune?

I've read a lot of posts where it was suggested to return to stock before uploading a new tune to fix hesitation issues like you're describing when loading a new tune on top of a custom tune. I've never had the issue with my car so I can't confirm it, but it's something to try before digging deeper.

Is there a big difference in daily drivability between the 4.10s and 3.73s?

If you go with 3.73s you will always wonder what if you had 4.10s.

4.10s are probably the steepest you would want to go for a daily driver. That being said they do nicely. I actually picked up mpg in the city due to less pedal needed to move the car. Your Highway, as expected, will suffer but that's just par for the course.

4.10s are the way to go assuming you are staying NA and have the tire to handle it. They work great for daily drivability.

I have an Auto. 4.10's are crazy sikk off the line. But 3.73's with stock 26" od wheels would be my choice. However... As I been posting lately.... I installed 28" od tires. Perfect combo with the 4.10's. For real, for real!!))

I was told that our mustangs need a certain amount of back pressure on the exhaust. I was told that you could lose tq and low end horsepower.

So launch her off the line at 4000 rpm+ and don't worry about a 3" exhaust and 78mm T.B.
