Throttle body clicking

I bought the SR performance throttle body and installed it the other day. I set the volts and everything seemed to go ok. When I went to start the car I turned the key on and tapped the throttle to make sure everything was working. Every time I come off thw pedal the throttle body makes like a double click sound. Almost like it's binding on the way down and and having to use the actuator to get it back to idle. I don't know if this is normal or if something is wrong. I can't remember if my factory on did this or not. Some help would be nice.

Does your throttle body make any sound when you come off the pedal? (Without the motor running and the key on)

Hey man I just tried it with my stock throttle body. With the key and pressing and depressing the gas pedal it DOES click when the pedal is fully depressed.

So I push the pedal down to the floor, and then when I'm easing off it will click when it closes all the way I guess.

Is that what you are referring to by chance?

That's exactly what I'm talking about. It just seemed loud.

Maybe it's louder because it's a different metal than the stock throttle body? Did you pair it with a cai? The stock intake tube is rubber so that might trap sound better possibly?

Now that you pointed this out I do notice it, thanks a lot!

It's funny how normal things go unnoticed until after you rebuild a motor. I never would have thought anything about it. But now I notice every little sound

Yeah no kidding. Every time I change a part I pay super close attention to it. Any small sound freaks me out. Even through the 4.6 makes all kinds of noises when they were brand new

Before my motor rebuild my phasers knocked like crazy. I locked out timing so now that's one less sound. But once the car is running I hear nothing but cam and header tick. It's much better
