Tire Size with Traction control/ abs on 05 mustang

I have original Stock Pirelli's Tires 235/55/17 with only 34k with 7/32nds left.my 05 gt stang was garage parked most its life. Im not impressed with the tires, they dont Hook up that good. Im planning to get Nitto NT555 255/50/17 for the rear.i never had problems with nittos hooking up on my 04 gt.
Will The Traction Control system / ABS light go off if i have 235/55/17 in the front and 255/50/17 in the rear? i used the tire calculator Tire 1= 235/55/17 Tire 2 255/50/17.

Once any tire slips, Traction control kicks in. If you're launching turn it off, so when you slip a little it won't cut the throttle. I like Nitto better than pirelli's. You need to replace the factory rear Lower control arms for some stiffer aftermarkets. It helps a lot with wheel hop.

Tires that close of a size shouldn't trip your ABS.

The traction fault comes on when there is tire slipping, not because of a different tire. It's a safety feature mostly for driving in the rain, when it feels the rear tires slip it cuts throttle and stops the slipping. Not a good feature for launching.

LCAs are fairly cheap, a little over $200. The big thing is to get poly bushings and not rubber. Also you must buy new bolts, because they are stretched when installed and not good for re-use.
