Replacement Hardware

I've got an 06 GT, when I bought the car it already had a Hurst competition shifter. Driving the other day and the shifter came lose, I had to shift using the base of it.. I pulled the boot off and noticed the bolts are the only hardware left holding the handle to the base.

I need some opinions, should I contact Hurst to try and find OE replacements for it, or hit up the hardware store to try and find some lock washers/nuts to use?

Id just go to the hardware store. Cheaper and easier. Use locktight too. Put it on mine and you can slam gears all day
