Corbeau Seats

Hey guys, I am looking at Corbeau CR-1 Racing Seats. I always wanted Recaro Racing seats, but I'd prefer not to spend $3,000 on seats if the Corbeau's are just as good. I am currently looking at the Leather CR-1's on AM's website. Anyone have these seats? any opinions on the quality/feel of the seat? Thank you!

They are real nice. Especially in person. I was going to go with those. But decided on a fixed back. The "Forza" from corbeau is the route I'm going

You will like the cr-1 though

Thank you Rapinator126! Any reason for going with the fixed back over the reclinable?

They are pretty good. I'm personally going to be going with the Sparco EVO.

Ah, makes sense. I want to start getting into AutoX, but still use the car for driving around town.

Good to know, I hadn't even looked into Sparco before. I was set on Recaro because if the name, but they're so freakin expensive.

Sparco isn't much cheaper. The ones I want are $800 each before the brackets needed to put them in.

I hear ya, the Microsuede are $959 and the Leather are $1,251 before the brackets. I am still not certain which one to go with. I kind of wanted the leather at first, but I am leaning more toward the microsuede. Either way, these or the Sparco's are still way cheaper than Recaro seat. I just don't get why they are so expensive.

Mostly name... Like looking at the Recaros that were an option in the newer Mustangs I just don't see how they can hold you in that well. The EVOs I've heard hold you in perfectly, which is great since I AutoX

I agree, the Recaros in the new mustangs do not look all that functional. I think I am going with the CR-1s. Do you (or anyone reading this) have any opinions regarding Micro Suede vs. Leather? Thank you!

If you are doing the seat for looks and stuff then it doesn't really matter. But if it's to actually hold you in then microsuede
