Help with Ford Racing Handling Pack

Has anyone got experience with the Ford Racing Handling PackItem # 50591 from American Muscle? Myobjective is to improve the handling on my ’07 convertible. I neither track the car or drag race it. Not much interest in launching. It is all about cornering without creating a harsh ride.

Would you recommend it? Is there anything you would add? Is there a build list that you would recommend to replace this kit?

Many thanks.

Hey,

Good question and I think for the money you could piece together a kit and still have money for an alignment. I've had so many different setups on my Bullitt I've lost count but as Marc had mentioned over on Modded Koni Makes a great Strut and Shock that could be paired with a spring of your choice depending on how low you're looking to go. (I've used Eibach extensively in the past and Ford Racing even uses them for their own line) Caster Camber Plates or GT500 Strut Mounts would be a great idea as well to keep your suspension geometry in line. If you're sensing traction issues you could go a step further and pick up upper and lower control arms. Let me know if you have any questions or feel free to shoot me a PM I'm always here to help!

Alex
