I can relate to that. I get asked those questions all the time. The manual will always be preferred for enthusiasts.

An automatic gun that shots when you point it at a deer wouldn't be fun.

It's as simple as that.

Yea.. I'm only kidding. I have the Barton kit with the mount and shifter. The Barton has ridiculously short shifts. I definitely am going to invest in the blowfish mount next. I hate the feeling the remote shifter gives. It's a solid tranny, I'm on my second one though. I had an early build 2011 with a "warped case". So I have a 2014 Mt-82 under warranty now. No complaints.

The blowfish is now obsolete because of the mgw2. You would spend less money getting the mgw2 and selling the barton vs buying the blowfish.

I have been away from the forums for a while. but I have researched the mgw race spec and I am SOLD! The mgw race spec is leeps and bounds better than the Barton. It eliminates all the flimsy stock parts. I had the 11 in the air on a lift and I looked at the bottom of the Barton. To find the stock aluminum bottom of the shifter. I didn't realize the Barton uses the stock lower half.

MGW race spec is nice but I heard Barton has a new one coming out. I was going to hold off buying one until I check the Barton out.

I can't believe the new Barton will be better than the MGW. I mean it might be close or even as good but seeing just how MGW actually makes their **** and the precision and all the testing they do. Impossible to go wrong and all the reviews coming in are backing all their claims up.
