93 Tune Question

I'm planning on buying the X4 Tuner from American muscle.
I have an 06 GT Auto. It has a K&N Cold Air Intake and a muffler delete, that's all.
With a 93 Tune, what is the accurate-ish estimate on how much power you will gain??
American Muscle say you gain about 17HP with a stock car using a 93 Tune.
Thanks everyone....

Exact HP gains are always a huge debate and don't always mean much.

The big deal about a tune isn't just a HP thing, it changes the way the engine performs and runs. You feel a real difference across the board. It's really a noticeable difference.

Chevy runs deep, don't step in Chevy.

^^^This-These numbers are going to be throughout the curve but rest assured you're going to feel it in the butt dyno! Especially on the Auto cars Bama can firm up the shift points and dial everything in for you. One of the greatest things again for the auto is when you step on it there's not going to be that millisecond hesitation where the car has a melt down trying to decide which gear to go into. Furthermore let me know if you don't have our discount code and shoot me a PM, I'll get you set up!

Buy the tuner and CAI combo. You will receive an email from the bama team with a link to register your order. Use this link along with the sales order number to fill out the tune form about your car and the tunes requested. Your tuner will arrive with the those tunes already pre-loaded. You load the tunes on the car.

Random somewhat relevant question.. when you get it is the firmware up to date? Can I just instantly plug it in and go?

It will be or should be plug and play. My sctx4 was 1 rev behind when I got it so I just updated it after I tuned it and backed up my stock tune to my pc. Sctx4 has wifi built it so updates are super easy.
