Black billet grille

Anyone know a good place to get black billet grille that allows gt lights stay?

Not from American muscle, they screw up every time I order from them. I'm so disappointed with them and will not recommend them.

Well they don't do a good job, poor customer service and they always ship faulty products and wrong colors.

It's not bashing if that's his experience. No use getting a bunch of recommendations from people about AM if he won't purchase from them. Just because they're the only sponsor for the forum doesn't me you have to kiss their ***.

The AM grills are the same ones you find on ebay. Got mine from am hoping that it wouldn't be the case. Of course when I got it, the grill was bent and it had Taiwanese writing on the box. They sent me another one that was in good shape. About 3 weeks all of the screws they sent were rusted wherever a screwdriver touched them. I called and told the service rep about it. Their answer was "yeah mine did that too. You need to go to the hardware store and get some better screws"

It seems when I first ordered things from them maybe 3 or 4 years ago their service was much better. I don't know if they have gone the way of lots of giant companies, "sell on price" concept. But if I can avoid them I do. This was on a 100 dollar grill. I'll stay on topic and won't tell the story of how they messed up my 5k supercharger order. Won't tell the Bama tunes story either.

Do a search on ebay and see what you come up with.

I'm sorry to hear that you feel so strongly about us. This is not the type of feedback I'm used to hearing. However, I do appreciate what you're saying even if it's negative. How can we ever push to be perfect without feedback like this? Mistakes will happen and there's nothing I can say and/or do that will prevent that. However, I can promise that I will always go the extra mile for you and make sure you're in good hands. AmericaMuscle was built on customer service so I'm very surprised to hear that you were offered bad service!

Can you please PM your recent order number? I would like to make sure I review the call and look into this. Your business is very important to us and I want to get to the bottom of this. What can I do for you to get your business and friendship back?

I would love to hook you up with a billet grille for free and show you the level of service that we offer day in and day out. Along with show you the quality of the product we offer!

If this is something you're interested in, I'll have my CS Manager reach out to you the second I get your order number.

I hope this helps and I look forward to speaking with you!

-Dan

When I opened the box thinking it was a full grille, it was an overlay. I was bummed becuz I had to do some modifying to the original grille to put it on but once it was on, it shines like a diamond ring... Not quite but looks awesome! I definitely recommend getting it if you don't mind modifying the grille, now I did mine way different than what I've read so u could not see anything behind it but the radiator

Right?! I just bought the smoked turn signals from AM. Maybe I'll put them on this weekend with my new CS6 grille. Those signals are seriously too obvious and pop too much for as subtle as I want everything to be.

Ahh, Champion Mustang sent me the wrong grille! They're product page specifically has a notice saying that the CS8 grille doesn't utilize center fog lights anymore like in the installed photo and the actual product image corroborates that statement by showing a clean grille with no holes. Low and behold, this is what I pull out of the box. Dealing with customer service now to get this fixed.

Okay so I returned the grille and housing and ordered directly from Shelby this time. They warned me that the two items weren't compatible but I thought I'd mod them to fit.

So I already see some problems I'll have to deal with. First, the grille shape is different from the housing. It fits fine on the ends where the height is about 6 3/4"but grows in the center to about 7 1/4" and is too tight to insert (pic 3). I plan on cutting out the center support so that should give me the leeway to get it snug. Interestingly, the grille I just returned (with the fog light holes) had the outside end rods, that insert into the housing, lined up with the housing. This one has them farther in (pic 4) so I need to create new ones or relocate the existing. Lastly, one of the nuts and bolts is missing (pic 3, lower left) so I've requested another.

It'll be sweet when I finally get this done.
