New Edge FTW lol. My 01 weighed 3335 with 1/2 tank, no spare or back seats. And about 60-70 pounds of added suspension weight with my heavy 18x9/10s

what are the standards to weigh your car at? how much fuel? I know fluids weigh a bit and I assume specs on a car are before fluids. Any way to calculate the difference between factory spec and current?

Car weight

Curb weight does not include any fluids. That's pretty much it. That goes from the gas to the oil to your washer fluid and the power steering and brake fluid, even diff fluid ect ect..........

From what I've seen it's about 150-200 pounds when all of the fluids are filled. It can obviously vary greatly depending on the size of the car, bigger cars usually have more fluids.

"Race weight" is what the car weighs at when you are in the car at your desired fuel level and such. If you were at the lights waiting for it to turn green to blast down the strip, if you were weighed that moment that is your race weight.

One reason I'm glad I only weigh 150lbs, when I'm in the car that's automatically say 50 pounds better than if the other guy got in the same car and he weighed 200lbs.

Well it was actually 3820, I was in it. I weigh exactly 200. Forgot to list muffler delete. It's all good though. Honestly that's pretty much in line with what it should weigh. After the supercharger I was kind of glad it didn't bust 4k lbs. haha.

Some dudes just don't care what they drive. Fast cars aren't every guys thing. I get a kick out small guys that get out of big lifted monster trucks

Car weight

Never said you did but here I'll say it so your post is relevant. Yeah the little cars that are stock with big tough guys are funny. Now I'll use lots of periods at the end of my post as well.... Just teasin you man relax. Also stock or not. I just don't care. And as a blanket statement not referring to you individually, fast cars aren't every guy thing. Some like guns and other man stuff

I love when I pull in somewhere and these little stick dudes have these giant lifted trucks- and 220 me gets out of a 1800 lb 2 seat Honda Insight space ship lol.

Some people need cars to compensate...some people have to tone it down with a mini car...haha, that's what I tell myself when I am in them.

I was always under the impression DRY weight was sum of just the parts, while CURB weight was it sitting at the dealer- full fluids, no people or extra stuff.
