He meant a tune. I'd recommend a cold air intake/bama tune combo from americanmuscle.com

If American muscle sells it its a quality product. Can't go wrong with any of their offerings, plus the bama tunes are as good as it gets for mail in tuners.

Outside of that I would consider 4:10 or 3:73 gears depending if you are auto or manual. Besides forced induction gears will be the next best thing for acceleration.

I can't believe you don't think these cars are pretty quick stock though. I still get a thrill when I go Open throttle in my 3v!

Welcome to the forum and congrats on your new mustang!

Oh most defiantly. A cold air intake, tune, and exhaust is where most of us start. Some stop there, others go all out with forces induction, heads, cams, etc.

After I did the tune and cold air I went with a throttle body, under drive pulleys, and 4:10 gears (probably should of went with 3:73's with a manual in retrospect). I'm pretty comfortable with where I'm at now but I definitely kept the stock pulleys in case I supercharge in the future

OP, your car looks really good. I agree with the CAI and exhaust.
