I did mine on a lift which made it a little easier, also i was in the car and my buddy was underneath it. With the two of us it was easier to maneuver it into place and not get caught on stuff. It is a pretty tight fit

Yeah I was thinking of doing it this weekend I might just do it on a couple of stands. It's pretty much a plug and play right?

Hurst Short Shifter Install

Yeah if you can get the stock shifter off you will have no trouble getting the Hurst on. The only tricky part is the tight fit. I'm a little guy so I had no trouble maneuvering the linkage but if you have bigger hands your gonna get some nice cuts and scrapes

All-in-all it's not to bad. If you can do a cold air intake or a stereo you will have no problems

Oh, and I did mine with just two stands. A lift would of been ideal but I'm just a normal dude and don't have access to that kind of royalty lol

Save the rubber boot under the shifter to block water coming through the floor. It's reused on the Hurst.
