Screw that lol. I'll just bore and stroke it and go to 7500-8k, I don't need 9k lol

Here is the guy that won the myrtle beach mustang week dyno competition.
927 rwhp from a 3v

(Copied and pasted)

Battle at the Beach 2014: Winner - Bobby Smith
Updated about 3 months ago
This years Battle at the Beach Dyno Challenge was full of stiff competition. Fresh off of our inaugural event last year, everybody wanted a piece of the action to try and show off just what their Mustang had. With only 10 chosen out of hundreds of submissions, Bobby Smith's 06 Mustang GT rose to the top to take away the trophy for 2014.

Bobby's 2006 GT has a load of modifications, including:
• Pro Dyno Built 323, 9.3:1 compression
• Kellog stroker crank
• Oliver billet rods
• CP pistons stainless rings
• Stock heads
• Manley SS intake valves and Manley inconel exhaust valves, both stock size
• Lunati custom turbo cams that are locked out
• Jessel followers
• Livernoise springs
• ARP everything
• Stock intake, throttle body and exhaust manifolds
• S&H Performance Stealth twin kit with cut outs open.

Although he originally was shooting for 1000RWHP+ on Race Gas, Bobby ran into some electrical problems, and had to go 93 octane, but still able to put down an amazing 927.8RWHP, which was enough to win this years

There is a video out there from when he was making only 8xxrwhp prior to the beach I guess if you got enough cash you can do what you want

That's it? I know there was a guy with a built Shelby that was there with over 1k horsepower. Maybe he didn't do the dyno.

Thats exactly the thing i was talking about for the 5.3 big bore stroker. Thats what it is. Gives it a 3.7" bore and 3.75" stroke. Boost that and you put down much better numbers than if the car was just forged and not bored or stroked. But out of all of it, the thing modulars are lacking the most is the bore.

Add a set of nice heads and turbo cams and that thing will be a monster.

No replacement for displacement.

Are you interested in stroking it and forging it? It can get pretty pricey. You could always just put whatever supercharger or turbo you want on there which is also obviously not cheap, see what you think about the power you make, then decide if you want to go any further by forging stroking etc.

Best option is a coyote swap, no need to stroke it, will make over 1,000 hp with stock heads and cams and intake manifold.
All you need is forged pistons/ rods.

And a set of Trick flow or equivalent valve springs. The stock ones start floating around 18 psi
